Walid B.Y. is an Associate Professor of Statistics and Applied Mathematics at The University of Carthage. He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France in October 2017, and a Master’s Degree in Applied from the same university in June 2014. He started his academic professional as Assistant Professor in Sousse in Tunisia.
In September 2020, he moved to the Higher Engineering School of Statistics and Information Analysis (Ecole Supérieure de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information) of the University of Carthage, where he was successively promoted to Associate-Professor in January 2023. He had taught there several statistical courses: Regression Analysis, Data Mining, Big Data.
